Erskine Systems Ltd, originally called Erskine Laboratories, was founded in 1938 in Weybridge. Shortly before the 2nd World War the company re-located to Scarborough in Yorkshire.
During the war Erskine was heavily involved with the Ministry of Defence, this relationship continued well into the 1970’s and established Erskine’s reputation for quality and reliability.
In 1968, the brand and company was acquired by Dale Electric GB, (now Dale Power Solutions Ltd) Erskine’s battery chargers and power products would ultimately complement Dale’s range of UPS and generators, also manufactured nearby.
