The APS brand promise...

“The experience we promise our customers above all else is that we will NEVER compromise on quality. Ever.”

A proven history of power supply excellence...

APS have repaired over 18,000 power supplies from a myriad of manufacturers over the last 19 years, giving us unrivalled expertise in this area.

This means the likelihood of us being able to repair your PSU and get your equipment back up and running in the shortest possible time is extremely high – in fact, our repair yield averages 99.2% over the last 5 years.

Our background as ex-Farnell PSU design engineers means this is all done with a quality mind-set and the diligence to maintain regulatory approvals and product safety.  Benefits include reduced capital expenditure, minimised failures and reduced obsolescence anxiety.

Where a repair or refurbishment is not an option, our services extend to the very highest quality bespoke design & manufacture of a wide range of industrial PSU’s and chargers all to ISO9001, ISO14001 & ISO45001 standards (UKAS accredited).

The Farnell Legacy

As part of the original PSU design team at Farnell, Farnell Instruments and Advance Power in the 1960s to late 1990s, we were instrumental in the design and manufacture of what are reputed to be some of the most reliable power supplies in the world. Importantly, we still have legitimate access to much of the original Farnell design documentation including test procedures, schematics and parts lists.

We carry a large OEM spares inventory, as used in the original products; ensuring repair work can be carried out without compromising approvals or product quality. Should an original part be obsolete, we have the knowledge and experience to readily source a suitable equivalent – as you would expect from design engineers.

At the request of our customers, we now also support PSUs, rectifiers and static switches from most of the mainstream manufacturers including TDK Lambda, Delta, Emerson, Dale Erskine, Siemens, Motorola, Eltek, Weir, Harmer and Simmons, Ferranti, Artesyn, Uniphase, XP, Astec, Coutant, Power One, Kingshill, Meanwell, Murata, Traco Power, ABB, Omron, Cosel, Vicor, and many others.
